Commissioners Office
Address

925 Court Street
Honesdale, PA 18431

Wayne County Commissioners Brian Smith, Jocelyn Cramer, and James Shook want to assure county citizens, voters and candidates that the County never endorses, supports, discourages or comments on candidates for public office.

Yesterday, a local candidate circulated, prior to the May 29, 2025 Municipal Primary, advertising stating that the candidate is “trusted” by “Wayne County”, “Children and Youth,” “Area of the Aging” (sic) and other county departments. To the extent that any of these references are intended to convey endorsement of any candidate by any Department in Wayne County government, the Commissioners categorically deny these statements.

The sole function of the Wayne County government during any election is to ensure a fair, open and secure process, without any partisan overtones.

The Wayne County Commissioners hold weekly Work sessions on Tuesday of each week  at 10:30 a.m.  These are discussion meetings on future agenda items requiring formal decisions or approvals as well as a time to receive information from various organizations or individuals on topics of interest.

Business meetings are held each Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

All meetings are held in the Commissioners Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Court House Annex, Honesdale. Both sessions are open to the public.
